A three-vehicle accident in Erie has left multiple people injured.
The accident happened Tuesday March 27th around 9:30 p.m. at the corner of W 12th St. and Cherry St.
Police report that a man driving a pick-up truck crashed into an SUV that was in a turning lane trying to turn onto Cherry St. The impact forced the SUV into a passenger van carrying 14 people.
Several people were injured in the crash and taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Police suspect the driver of the pick-up truck, who caused the initial crash, was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
