Fiat Chrysler has issued a recall on over 160,000 minivans due to an engine stalling risk. The manufacturer says that the engine control computer can misinterpret the operating status of the vehicle and cause the engine to shut off.
The recall involves certain models of the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica with gasoline engines.

A head-on collision on Saxonburg Boulevard in Indiana Township, has left one woman dead. The accident is still under investigation, but authorities believe a woman driving another van crossed over the center lines and struck the victim in her van head on. Saxonburg Boulevard was closed for several hours while a reconstruction of the accident was done.

A crash involving a Port Authority bus has left several injured. The accident occurred around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Penn Avenue and Swissvale Avenue. Allegheny County emergency dispatchers reported that a Port Authority bus collided with a vehicle and then was sent into a utility pole. Power lines fell onto the bus and left a few hundred people without power according to Duquesne Light.

Nine teenagers were injured in a one-vehicle crash on Saturday in Lower Burrell. The teens were traveling east on Dutchman Road toward Route 780, when the SUV they were in left the road, hit an embankment and flipped once according to police. Five teens were ejected from the vehicle. Police believe only the driver was wearing a seatbelt when the accident occurred.
