School Bus Crashes into Tanker Truck in Butler County

A school bus, with students on board, crashed into the back of a tanker truck on Wednesday afternoon. The accident occurred on Route 422 by the intersection at Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township. The school bus rear-ended the truck which was stopped at a light. There was so much damage done to the front of the school bus that the driver had to be cut out by rescue workers. Two-year-old child killed by dog in West Mifflin

On Sunday night, just after 8 p.m., a two-year-old was mauled by a pit bull. The attack happened in a home in West Mifflin. After the pit bull bit the young girl, she was taken to Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She later died at the hospital because of her injuries. On Tuesday, a head-on collision occurred on New England Road in West Mifflin around 7 p.m. The road is narrow, has two lanes and is about a half of a mile north of Route 837.
