The German auto manufacturer, BMW, has issued a recall on one million of their cars and SUVs in the United States. The massive recall is two different recalls that both present a fire risk in the vehicles.
The first recall affects 740,000 vehicles ranging from model years 2007-2011. BMW’s 328i, 328xi, 328i xDrive, 525i, 525xi, 528i, 528xi, 530i, 530xi, X3 3.0si, X3 xDrive30i, X5 xDrive30i, Z4 3.0i, Z4 3.0si and Z4 sDrive30i have all been recalled....
In 2015 Pittsburgh spent $1.6 million on bike projects around the city. Since 2007, Pittsburgh as added nearly 75 miles of bike lanes and shared lanes. In the last few years alone, the city has started constructing protected bike lanes at strategic locations.
The proliferation of bike infrastructure provides an opportunity for avid cyclists and casual bicyclists alike to enjoy a ride through the city, bike to work, or get some exercise.

A crash involving a Port Authority bus has left several injured. The accident occurred around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Penn Avenue and Swissvale Avenue. Allegheny County emergency dispatchers reported that a Port Authority bus collided with a vehicle and then was sent into a utility pole. Power lines fell onto the bus and left a few hundred people without power according to Duquesne Light.
At least seven people were injured in the accident....
