Bus passenger injured in crash files lawsuit

A Pennsylvania man recently did this very thing.

He said he suffered potentially permanent injuries as a passenger on a SEPTA bus that collided with an SUV that was operated by a limousine company. In addition to back sprains he also suffered cervical damage in the accident. The lawsuit seeks to hold several individuals and entities accountable including the limousine company, the chauffer, SEPTA and the driver of the bus.

According to the lawsuit, both drivers were negligent in that they were not paying attention. He believes that focusing on the road and other traffic could have resulted in the crash being avoided. The man is seeking damages not to exceed $50,000.

Permanent injuries such as those the man in this case experienced can be devastating to deal with. As they can result in chronic pain, they can dramatically change the life of the person affected. These changes can lead to great expense as well. Accordingly, any compensation that the man might secure could be extremely beneficial to him as he deals with his injuries.
