Attorney Mark Milsop of Berger and Green will receive the Pennsylvania Association for Justice’s (PAJ) George F. Douglas, Jr., Amicus Curiae Award at its annual retreat on June 30, 2018. The award is given to recognize a trial lawyer member for their outstanding accomplishments in brief writing or oral argument before Pennsylvania’s highest courts on behalf of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
The Douglass award is presented to a member of the Association’s Amicus Curiae Committee annually. The Award is intended to promote and reward long-term service to the Committee and PAJ’s appellate advocacy program.
The Amicus Curiae committee files briefs on behalf of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice in Pennsylvania’s state and federal appellate courts as friends of the court when important issues are being considered by the Courts.
Attorney Milsop has been a member of the Amicus Curiae Committee since 2003 and has written many briefs on behalf of the committee. He also served as chair of the committee from 2015-2017.
Attorney Milsop joined Berger and Green, P.C. in 2007, where he proudly represents injured accident victims in personal injury claims including: car accidents, burn injuries, dog bites, slip and fall incidents and wrongful death claims. Attorney Milsop has over 25 years of experience.
Mr. Milsop stays active in the legal community, writing on the law and advocating for laws that protect the rights of injured accident victims. He is proud to serve personal injury victims as an attorney with Berger and Green.
