On May 15, 2014, General Motors (GM) issued a recall for 2.7 million vehicles, adding to a total of 11.2 million vehicles recalled in the U.S. this year. On May 22, 2014, Office Depot recalled over a million of their Gibson Leather Task Chairs due to a defective mounting plate.
