Two men are dead after examining a disabled vehicle on the parkway east.
The first vehicle broke down in the right lane on an elevated section of the parkway. A good samaritan stopped to see if he could help.
Both the men were examining the disabled vehicle when a third vehicle came and crashed into the second vehicle. Both men fell dozens of feet onto Second Avenue, which runs below that portion of the parkway, where they were struck by a fourth vehicle.
It is uncertain if the men were pushed off from impact or they jumped to try and avoid the crash.
A woman and a 12-year-old were in the first vehicle and did not suffer any injuries. The drivers of the third and fourth vehicles were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Police had the parkway shut down for several hours to reconstruct the scene and interview witnesses. At this time, they do not plan to file any charges.

Pursuing a claim after losing a loved one will never fill the void left by a loved one’s passing away. It is not a matter of profiting for the family left behind, but rather recovering. The recovery of damages can alleviate the unexpected funeral costs and expenses accrued when a loved one passes.
