The recall was issued to make sure shields that protect brake boosters was properly installed. The shields protect the brake boosters from corrosion caused by water. If the shield was not installed properly, the water would cause corrosion and excessive firmness when braking.

Prestage Foods has issued a recall for 38,000 pounds of Ground Turkey due to a possible metal contamination. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has deemed the food to be unsafe. The ground turkey was shipped to Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, New York, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Tennessee. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) the auto manufacturer Mazda, is recalling 58,000 2015-2016 Mazda 6 models due to a defective circuit that could cause the airbags to deactivate and power assisted steering to fail.
The recall comes 21 months after Mazda was informed of the problem.
