Motorcyclist seriously injured in Pittsburgh area accident

This may have been played a role in a motorcycle crash that recently occurred in the Pittsburgh area. A 26-year-old man on a motorcycle collided with a car driven by an 82-year-old woman. Following the crash an accident reconstruction team was called to the scene to try to determine what happened.

While the woman in the car was not hurt in the crash, the motorcyclist was transported to first one hospital, and then another. His injuries were described as “serious.”

Though specifics regarding his injuries are not known, some of the more serious injuries tied to motorcycle accidents include road burns, road rash, spinal cold injuries and brain injuries. Any of these types of injuries can be incapacitating and lead to a long period of recovery. During such a recovery, medical bills and living expenses can mount applying financial stress to what is likely already a difficult situation.

Some people in this situation find financial relief via a personal injury lawsuit. For a chance of success, the incident that caused the serious injuries needs to be due, at least in part, to the negligence of someone else. In most cases those who are considering filing a personal injury lawsuit benefit from working with an attorney who handles these types of claims.
