Woman injured in slip and fall sues convenience store

The woman said she slipped and fell on ice that was located around the pump. As a result of that fall she said she suffered severe bodily injuries. The injuries were not specified but she indicated that it is possible that they could become permanent.

As a result of the injuries she suffered in the fall the woman filed a lawsuit against the convenience store. In it she alleges that she will suffer pain and anguish that is constant. That pain and suffering will make it hard for her to earn a regular salary. She also alleges that she will continue to incur medical expenses. Accordingly, she is seeking more than $50,000 in compensatory damages.

The lawsuit also asserts that her injuries are the result of recklessness and negligence on the part of the convenience store. She claims that employees of 7-Eleven should have made the area around the pumps safe for customers or warn patrons of the hazards.

A person’s life can be changed in a split second. When that change is due to an injury caused by the actions of another person or entity, a lawsuit such as this one may be appropriate.
