Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Route 28

A 29-year-old man died after his vehicle was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer on Route 28.

The tractor-trailer was unable to stop and crashed into the back of the young man’s vehicle. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.  He died two days later due to the severity of this injuries.

It is not certain as to why the tractor-trailer was unable to stop.  Two other vehicles were also involved in the crash, but no other injuries were reported.
