Berger and Green Teams Up with The Central PA Humane Society to Sponsor Spay Days.
At Berger and Green, we help injured accident victims get compensation and individuals who are disabled receive Social Security disability benefits. We are proud of the work we do for our clients. We are also proud of the work we do in the community. Thanks to our partnership with the Central PA Humane Society, we help owners and their pets receive affordable veterinary care while also helping to control the pet population.
Providing a safe and healthy environment for pets is important, but the expense of spay or neutering can be overwhelming for an owner.
Knowing these hardships, and the effects of not having animals spayed or neutered can have on our community, we decided to partner with The Central PA Humane Society and help.
Berger and Green is proud to support The Central PA Humane Society. Through our partnership with the organization, we have been able to support and cover the costs to spay and neuter over 1,500 cats and dogs!
From The Director of Outreach and Development for The Central PA Humane Society, “Berger and Green has been helping our community enjoy the love of a pet and be responsible by getting he or she fixed for six years now!
The Central PA Humane Society (CPHS), serving Blair and surrounding counties in central Pennsylvania, is a charitable, non-profit organization dedicated to helping animals and people.
The primary goal of CPHS is to find loving homes for adoptable animals.
For the last six years, Berger and Green has sponsored the CPHS’s monthly Spay Days program!
Spay Days is a low-cost spay/neuter program offered by the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, with the help of participating veterinarians and citizens concerned about the desperate problem of companion animal overpopulation in our area.
The program is designed to offer financial support for pet owners who are not financially able to afford the entire cost of surgery.
From Managing Partner Amanda J. Bonnesen, “We are proud to support the Central PA Humane Society in furthering animal safety and wellness. The Central PA Humane Society does a great job of placing animals in loving homes and we are happy to help further this work.”
