The accident occurred round 12:30 a.m. on State Route 422, in Plumcreek Township. Two vehicles, a Jeep and a Ford, were traveling west on Route 422 when the Ford began to slow down to make a left turn. The Jeep failed to slow down and crashed into the back of the Ford. The driver and passenger in the Ford were both ejected from the vehicle and flown to nearby hospitals. The passenger died due to the extent of her injuries.
Two people who were in the Jeep were also flown to a nearby hospital.
In the third vehicle, two people sustained minor injuries.

Recovering compensation after an accident.
The family of the victim may file a civil wrongful death claim.
Filing a claim after losing a loved one will never fill the void left by a loved one’s passing away. It is not a matter of profiting for the family left behind, but rather recovering. The recovery of damages can alleviate the unexpected funeral costs and expenses accrued when a loved one passes.
If a loved one was killed in an accident, it is important to contact a personal injury attorney right away to review your rights. The others who were injured in the accident have rights to compensation as well. A personal injury claim may be pursued.
