Lawyer Mark F. Bennett elected to Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County

Congratulations to Berger and Green’s Mark F. Bennett who was elected to membership in the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County.

Membership requires a nomination, an interview process and recommendation of the membership committee, approval by the board and election by the general membership. A small percentage of those nominated for membership are actually accepted.

Active Membership is limited by the Academy by law to 250 Allegheny County lawyers who are actively engaged in civil trial practice from both the plaintiff’s and defendant’s side of counsel table in either state and/or federal courts. Applicants must have a minimum number of trials and trial hours.

The purpose of the academy is to promote the highest standards of integrity, civility, and competence in the legal profession, to cherish the camaraderie among its members and to foster a close working relationship with the judiciary in matters of judicial administration.

Attorney Bennett graduated from Duquesne University in 1986 with his bachelor’s degree in political science and English. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law. Due to his excellence in his studies, Attorney Bennett was also a member of the Duquesne University Law Review. Being an attorney is something Mr. Bennett says he knew he always wanted to do.

Attorney Bennett joined Berger and Green, P.C. in 1996. He represents injured accident victims in personal injury claims including: multi-vehicle accidents, dog bites, and defective products.

Mr. Bennett is sensitive to his clients’ situations and fights hard to recover the financial compensation the law permits for them.
