Fatal Crash in Washington Township Leaves One Man Dead and Several Injured.

Fatal Crash in Washington TownshipA head-on collision on Route 66 in Washington Township, Westmoreland County, has left one man dead and five others injured. Three of those injured, had to be airlifted to local hospitals, including two children who were transported to Children’s Hospital.  The accident is still under investigation, but authorities believe a white truck crossed over the center lines and struck the two vehicles head on. Route 66 was closed for several hours.

It has not been confirmed, however, most head-on collisions result from distracted driving. Distracted driving is not only illegal it is deadly.
