Kia Will Recall More Vehicles due to Fire Risk.

Kia is now recalling another 141,000 vehicles due to a fire risk.

The latest recall includes the 2013 and 2014 Kia Optima.

According to Kia, a fuel line in the vehicles could crack due to excessive heat in the engines, increasing the risk for a fire.  

There have not been any fires or injuries reported at this time.

Kia said they will be contacting affected owners. The vehicles will be inspected and repaired for free.

Last week, Kia recalled over 200,000 vans and SUVs due to a different potential fire hazard.  

That recall included Sedona minivans model years 2006-2010 and Sorento SUVs model years 2007-2009. To read more about that recall, visit our previous blog post.
