Several are injured after an ambulance and a car collided in Salem Township. Early Monday morning, around 3:00 a.m., an ambulance crashed into the side of a white Toyota. The ambulance was carrying four people at the time of the accident: the driver, a female medic, a 7-month-old baby and her mother. One person had to be extracted from the ambulance. A window washer has died after his bucket truck hit power lines Tuesday morning. The man was working at the Metropolitan Condominiums on North Neville Street when the accident occurred. The victim had backed the bucket into the power lines and was roughly 30-40 feet in the air. Duquesne Light was called to turn off the electricity so emergency responders could bring the man down. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the accident.

Graco, a popular children’s products manufacturer, is recalling more than 25,000 car seats due to defective webbing in the car seat’s harness. The harness webbing can break in the event of an accident leaving the child unprotected.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, strength of the webbing was tested and Graco traced the problem to a specific batch of webbing.
