A New Castle man has died after a one-car roll-over accident on Sunday in Washington Township.  Pennsylvania State Police said the vehicle was traveling West on 208 when the accident occurred. The vehicle veered off the road and crashed into an embankment causing it to become airborne and land on its roof.  The man who died in the accident had to be extracted from the vehicle.  Also trapped in the vehicle was a 5-year-old boy who suffered minor injuries.  The driver and front passenger of the vehicle were both thrown from the vehicle and suffered moderate injuries.  All the individuals were from New Castle.

Filing a claim in a one-vehicle accident

It is not clear as to why the driver veered off the road. If the driver of the vehicle is found to be at fault, they could face serious criminal charges. The family of the victim may file a civil wrongful death claim as well.

Filing a claim after losing a loved one will never fill the void that is left.  It is not a matter of profiting for the family left behind, but rather recovering.  The recovery made can alleviate the unexpected funeral costs and expenses accrued when a loved one passes.
